Why I Changed My Circle of Influence

My life is more than just a movie, but a reality.  My life has been filled with ups and downs; the good and the bad; many tears and bunches of smiles.  Whatever the case, it's my life and I own it, embrace it, love it, and continuously move forward in it.  "My life is limitless."
Cheron K. Griffin (the brand) and Cheron are two totally separate entities.    Cheron's life is now private, quite, peaceful, and about family while Cheron K. Griffin's life is vibrant, in your face, up close and personal, and doing what many people want to do.  Many people think they can figure me out, but no one will never figure me out because I'm constantly changing and growing.  One day I might like chocolate, but a week later, I might like vanilla.  One thing that I can say is consistent between Cheron and Cheron K. Griffin is that they are both royalty and they both LOVE GOD.  Cheron is the princess and  Cheron K. Griffin is the queen.  The princess is spoiled and the queen is running things, yet, they are both two royal entities living in one body.

Though I consider myself royalty, I understand that everyone cannot be in my royal circle.  As I grow, I'm constantly weeding out those that think they will ride on my back of success.  It's not that I don't want them to be successful, but I had to pay a price for my anointing and where I'm going.  A royal circle is proven, not given.  I challenge and test friendships because the heart is deceitfully wicked.  I'm wise enough to know that everyone around me isn't for me, yet I continue to smile and laugh with them.  Why?  It's nice to keep your enemies close because they end up being your foot stool.  While they think they are running things and in control of you and your destiny, you are like the queen on a chess board, moving in all directions and spreading your wings soaring like an eagle.  It's not because you are great, but it's because GOD is with you and GOD is great within you.  Though I'm constantly smiling, I'm watching as well as praying and asking for more discernment.  You see, when you know who you are and whose you are, you move forward in spite of knowing that nothing can stop you from reaching your destiny except you.  God gives you wisdom and even dreams about the challenges coming so that you know how to proceed.  For example, when God is about to remove people from my circle, I dream of rats.  These people are deceitful and really waiting for my demise as opposed to celebrating me.  I'm always warned so things don't hurt like they normally would.  Instead of acting unseemly and unlike I queen, I simply say a little prayer, "Lord, reverse the curse and send it back where it came from."  You see, the spirit of witchcraft is real.  It doesn't always come from those who are Satan worshipers, but it also comes from those sitting in church pews.  How many times have you wished harm to someone or thought your actions would hurt someone, yet you call yourself a Christian (Christlike)?  One thing I know about me is, I might fall down, but I also get back up.

So as I grow in all areas of my life, I had to leave some circles; get cast out of some circles; and even change my church circle.  God had destined me for GREATNESS and I know that I can't get there while being mediocre.  Though my ministry is healing and deliverance, I had to even leave those types of ministries because I got tired of the jump and shout every Sunday, yet the people had no growth in their finances, in their faith, and in their personal development.  As much as I hated prosperity preaching, I had to do a 180 degree turn and sit under some because I needed what they had.  Poverty is a mindset and if everyone is thinking in lack and woe is me, how could I grow and reach my full potential being in the same circle.  Some people are fine being poor, but the God I serve said I can have anything and live the abundant life: abundance in my health, in healing, in finances, in faith, in relationships, on earth, and in every area of my life.  You see, my thirst for success isn't something I did, but it has been engraved in me even in my mothers womb.  So like P-Diddy said, "DON'T STOP, LETS GO, and GO GET IT."

So in conclusion, I must say that I don't think that I'm better than anyone, but my circle of influence has changed.  I don't want to be the only one in the circle pressing for greatness, I want to be around those who have obtained greatness in their relationships with their spouses, in the finances, and in their spirituality.  The party train was fun, but my party train is now about business and creating a legacy for my children and my children's children.  My life now is about the hustle and reaching broken women and girls around the world.  I was broken, but now I'm free, I'm happy, I'm at peace, and I'm hustling to make it happen for so many others.  So if I have to let a few people go in the midst of moving forward, so be it.  It's time to go to another level and reach DESTINY.

A Set Time for SEX

I often hear men and women complain about their sex lives and intimate moments.  Many married men and women are bored to death in their bedrooms because of "a set time for sex" or the lack thereof.  LOL.  I can't imagine being married with NO SEX or PLANNED SEX.  I guess that I'm more like the man in that area, whenever and wherever.  I don't care if we are angry at each other or if I feel like I hate you; I want what I want and I want it when I want it.  At least you can be good for something.  Forget being angry, my body seeks some love and attention every once in a while or maybe even everyday.  It depends if I'm ovulating or not.  SORRY MEN, but that's my best time.  Anyway, this article isn't about me, my desires, or my wild fantasies.  It's about you and your lover or spouse.  WHO WANTS TO PLAN OUT INTIMATE MOMENTS according to the CLOCK.  I can't imagine saying to my husband, "We are going to have sex tonight at 8:00 PM when the children are put down for the night.  Yes, people plan out intimate moments and this is weird, but if it works for you, CONTINUE to do it.

If I as a married woman, this is what I would want:

  1. Seduce me while I'm cooking and lift me up on the sink and make love to me....
  2. Take a shower with me and stroke my ego or something else.....
  3. Lets watch a movie and you eat popcorn off of me...
  4. Make love to me on the balcony in the pouring rain...
  5. Lets have a picnic in the living room and I'm dessert....
  6. Lets sneak in the restaurant bathroom for a quickie.....
  7. I'll meet you at your office with just a raincoat on and (you know the rest).....
  8. And if I was married to the pastor, I'd meet him in his study for some needed .......

Shall I continue?  NOPE, I'll let you use your imagination and take it from here.  Please know that A SET TIME FOR LOVE is NOT even for OLD PEOPLE, but for BORING PEOPLE!  So what you are busy professional or you have kids running around.  Whatever the case, you can have a "LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS" even in your love life!

"A Life Without Limits"

Life or Death, Funeral or Homegoing?

As I look at life, I also look at death knowing that we will all die someday.  Some of us will die sooner than others, but even in that, I have to ask many of you whether you have lived on earth or are you a part of a crowd called "The Walking Dead?"  As I sat in my dental chair years ago, my very wealthy White client brought something to my attention.  He said that Black Americans are taught that they will experience life's riches upon death and that White people tend enjoy life while living and before meeting death.  I began to ask myself, "Are you living?"  As I even sit and ponder these thoughts now, I have to say that I have lived and yes, I want to live some more.  I want to experience the best that life has to offer.  Though I am living, I  continuously meet so many people who I consider "The Walking Dead."  These people tend to have no hope, no inspiration, and no life though they are considered living because blood is flowing in their veins and oxygen is in their lungs.

Even though I have lived and I expect to receive more of life's best, I know that I will kiss death sooner than later.  Afterall, I am only promised a certain amount of years on earth.  When I am in my casket, many will say that they are coming to my funeral so I must correct you now, you will be coming to my homegoing.  A funeral is for people who have not lived their authentic life and a homegoing is a celebration of life.  I don't want boring music and a boring speech, but I want dancing, singing, and a speech that will have you feeling empowered and inspired to live your best life.  I know that I cannot reach all of you, but as I continue my journey of the living, I want you to know that you can experience life's best even now.  It doesn't matter if you messed up.  It doesn't matter that you were on drugs.  It doesn't matter that you have a terminal illness.  It doesn't matter that as a child your innocence was taken away from you.  I am not saying that these things didn't hurt you, effect you, and/or shaped your destiny, but I am saying that even in your pain, you can decide to live an abundant life.  You can encourage and inspire others to live and as you do so, your healing will manifest.  And hope will come knocking at your door because you will see others change right before your eyes.  Are you experiencing life or death?  And will people come to your funeral or will they attend your homegoing?  You still have a choice!

A Penis-Less Society

Vitruvian Man
I often hear women, especially Black women, talk about the decline of men to marry due to an overwhelming shortage. It's true that many men are in jail and many men show no interest in the female anatomy leaving women to father children through sperm banks or a simple stranger.  Better yet, some women have even gone as far as having babies with their gay friends and no strings attached.  No judgment here.  So, what is the woman who wants to get married and have children to do?

Well ladies, I know that racism still exist, but I must encourage all my sisters (White, Black, Latino, Asian, Middle Eastern, African, and others) to date out of your race.  I know that many of you are saying no way and no how, but as we all no, there is no pure race anyway. Everything including you originated in Africa.  Don't get mad at me, get mad at science.  So do you really want to know how to date outside of your race.  I will tell you, but first, please be aware that men of other cultures want to date you.  Despite what many say, you are their dream.  Since slavery and before, Caucasian men have adored the Black woman's big hips, full lips, and bossy attitude.  And to my Caucasian sisters, Black men love your big breast, long hair, and your submissive ways.  So yes, we can all get along even in the world we live in now.

Are you still listening, hopefully!  Now, here are some key points to getting your man of another culture:

1.  Make yourself available by going where they go
2.  Know their culture and history
3.  Show yourself friendly
4.  Know exactly what you want
5.  And don't listen to other's opinions

In conclusion ladies, there are actually more penises available then you know.  They are waiting to meet meet your vaginae and say, "I DO!"  Happy dating and finding the man of your dreams.  I want to here about your future wedding plans!

WHY AM I STILL SINGLE?

Why Am I Still Single?

If you ask many married people if they enjoy being married, many would say that they’d prefer to be single.  And if you ask many single people if they love the single life, many would say that they wish they were married.  Studies show that men who are married live longer and statistics tell us that women instigate more than 75% of today's divorces.  Despite the numbers, men and women are asking themselves one simple question, “Why am I still single?”

Though I am a four time divorcee, marriage will always be on the table because I love relationships and the institution of marriage.  Most people would be afraid to say “I do” after so many divorces, but I welcome it.   My motto, “Try, try, try again.”  Please don’t think that I am bragging about my divorces; however, I am bragging that four men found me worthy of being called “wife.”  So let us talk about why you are still single.

Singleness is a mindset.  So a man thinks, so he is!  Once you decide that a relationship is what you truly desire and deserve, it will come.  Doubt is a negative and fear can either be a motivator or a hindrance.  In your case, it’s a hindrance.  Here are some reasons that you might be single still.

·         You don’t believe you are worthy of authentic love.
·         Fear of your past.
·         You are not confident in who you are and what you deserve.
·         You are not putting yourself in a position to be found.
·         You are not seeking a relationship or looking for that special someone.
·         You are listening to other people.
·         You are afraid of rejection.
·         You are afraid of love.
·         Lack of communication skills.
·         And you don’t love yourself, therefore you cannot offer love to anyone else.

If you truly want to love again and you desire a relationship, love awaits you!

Maintaining Your Identity in a Relationship

As we all know, many women tend to lose their value and their identities as they enter into  relationships.  Dreams become diminished and their new found love has stolen their worth.  I am not stating that their dream lover has demanded their identity, but because of the innate nature of a woman, when she’s in, she’s in giving her all.  Her goals and desires are now considered lost treasures.  The question is, “How can a woman embrace love and yet, remember herself?”

Keep His Attention, But Loving YOURSELF

1.      Know yourself and your worth.
2.      Stay dedicated to YOUR DREAMS
3.      Include him in your dreams and goals
4.      Don’t allow the relationship to consume too much of your time
5.      Speak your mind and tell the truth
6.      Don’t get too comfortable
7.      Maintain your individuality
